Russia says sets August sunflower export seed oil duty at zero

MOSCOW, Jul 25 (PRIME) -- Russia will set a zero export duty on sunflower seed oil from August 1, while the sunflower meal duty will rise to 7,444 rubles per tonne in August from 6,248.7 rubles per tonne in July, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The indicative sunflower oil price for the period is set at U.S. $829.4 per tonne and the sunflower meal price at $270.2 per tonne.

The government prolonged the flexible export duties on sunflower oil, sunflower oilseed meal, and sunflower seeds until August 31, 2023.
